EV Charging Installations

We are fully qualified to design, install, and commission complete solutions for your Electric Vehicle (EV) charging requirements.

As a government-approved installer, we can also provide subsidised home charging points under the current grant schemes.

Commercial EV Charger Installations

All commercial EV charger installations require a site visit. This allows our engineers to assess your property, evaluate electrical capacity, determine the optimal charger location, and ensure the installation meets all safety and regulatory requirements. Following the site visit, we can provide a tailored installation plan and accurate quote.

5m of EV Ultra 6mm high-tuff cable

Drilling through 1 external wall

Cable clips, fixings, and glands

Full testing, inspection & commissioning

All relevant certification and notification

Requirements for a Standard Installation

To qualify for a standard installation, your property must meet the following conditions:

Not on a looped supply

Existing consumer unit is metal

Existing consumer unit already contains a Type A RCD

Existing consumer unit already has surge protection installed

Spare capacity in the consumer unit for an additional circuit

Non-Standard Installation

Additional work may be needed if conditions aren’t met.

Could include electrical or structural adjustments.

Any extra costs or schedule changes will be discussed beforehand.

Available Grants

EV Chargepoint Grant (Domestic)

Provides up to £350 or up to 75% funding towards the cost of installing smart chargepoints at domestic properties across the UK.

Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS)

Voucher-based scheme to reduce the up-front costs of purchasing and installing EV chargepoints.
Available for eligible businesses, charities, and public sector organisations.
