My Personal Statement
My name is Matt, and I’m proud to run MBF Electrical Services, a family-run electrical, fire and security business that’s been keeping things powered, protected and (usually) under control since 2016. We’re built on trust, quality, and professionalism, but also on the simple belief that people just want the job done properly without the jargon, the runaround, or the classic “it’ll only take five minutes” that somehow turns into a full afternoon. I take a hands-on approach to everything we do, which basically means I’m either on the tools, on the phone, or making another cup of tea while planning the next job. Every customer gets honest advice, clear communication, and work carried out to a high standard, not the “that’ll do” standard. As an NICEIC registered contractor, safety, compliance, and fire protection are at the core of what we do. We don’t take shortcuts, especially when it comes to keeping people safe, even if I do occasionally make bad jokes on site that land about as well as a blown fuse. Over the years I’ve built experience across domestic, commercial, and industrial projects, covering electrical installations, rewires, fault finding, fire alarms, CCTV systems, access control, data cabling, and EV charging. I stay up to date with the latest technology and regulations so we can deliver modern, efficient, and future-proof solutions without overcomplicating things. At the heart of MBF Electrical Services is a simple approach: do good work, be honest, turn up when we say we will, and leave every customer with confidence, peace of mind, and ideally everything working exactly as it should.
